A Medical Mystery with an Ominous Outcome

 Frogs in Australia, moose in Minnesota, and men in Central America are dying from mysterious diseases.  A better understanding of these diseases may open a new chapter in medicine, yielding new treatments for a number of diseases, including Lyme disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, and even cancer.  A better understanding of these diseases may also change the way mankind feeds an ever growing population.
